We have remote usersĪnd local users - so up to about 200 people could potentially be on these servers at any given time. After all applications are installed, about 70GB are free.
Our CHD disks are created to be only 120GB in size each.
In Server 2008R2, I was able to reduce the size of the profiles down to as low as about 14mb without any problems. Getting management to pay for additional storage is worse than having teeth pulled without anesthetic, so we'veīeen maintaining the size of the local profiles on our own, and just redirecting the key area's of a user's profile (my documents, my desktop, and thats about it) for our RDS servers. In our environment we do not use much in the way of roaming profiles. I'm trying to find a safe way to reduce the size of the local user profiles.
